Scythe

This man, way above my age, still knows, and practises the use of a scythe. According to him he is the only one in Reinheim (over 16,000 inhabitants) who does this.
He had no problem with me taking a picture. He actually took it with humour, as it happens more often. E.g. last week another guy did the same.
We spoke a bit, he in Hessian, me in German, about this way of mowing grass. Most people do not know how to do it.
I mentioned his health, he couldn't stand straight up. He said that it had nothing to do with his work, but was due to his hip malfunctioning.
