We’re Back

Must be pushing 30 years since we were last in Prague but here we are again. Last time we stayed in a flat miles from the centre, now we’re in a swish hotel within spitting distance of the Charles Bridge. How times change! Anyway, we took the train here from Vienna which seemed to take forever but delivered us into a beautifully COOL late afternoon. The town is absolutely hooching, even busier than I’d been expecting, which takes a bit of getting used to but we strolled up to the castle and back down, chanced upon a brewery restaurant crying out for us to try their beer and settled down. Mixed reviews for the beers I’m afraid but the food was terrific. Wandered back to the hotel, grabbed a jumper (!), enjoyed a final beer and that was it for the day.
