Big Castles, Big Beaches, Big Skies

Northumberland does things on a big scale I always think. Vast expanses of blue skies, long stretches of sandy beaches, and a big castle every now and again too. A fab day exploring Bamburgh, I found a walled garden, bought some venison burgers from the world famous butchers there (their claim not mine ;) and had afternoon tea on the green. Then it was back on the bus for a lovely evening of al fresco dining and sunset watching with a G&T.
