The wallpapering plan required 24 rolls.  Yeah, they are big rooms...

There exists a grand total of 11¾ rolls in the UK and the manufacturer has shut down for the summer.

We're well beyond Plan B, more like Plan M.  In this plan we calculate precisely  how to cover an appropriate subset of walls.  Optimised, unexpectedly, by adding a dado, so that the hung lengths are better optimised for the the roll lengths, and offcuts from other wall lengths can be hung below the dado.  It doesn't exactly leave a very big margin of error.

This plan has lasted about 48 hours, which is a record at the moment, but eventually rejected - partly because I think I'd be lynched by the decorator.
