Damp

A very damp day in Hoy.  A very damp day in Stromness.  An inveterate biped was waiting for the Legion to open.  The boys on the return leg couldn’t wait and had an inordinate amount of tins of lager in their rucksacks.  A young boy was learning his duties on the boat.  He was inside the cabin (with Fitz) taking fares.  Purposely, the lager boys gave him tickets that were weeks old.  I gave him a letter for an appointment for a scan in the local hospital.  He coped very well.
