Slaughterhouse

This is the old village slaughterhouse. It fell from use many decades ago. It lies abandoned, ignored by most, mis-identified as a barn, perhaps.

I find it a troubling building. 

The only positive I can draw from it was the journey from field to plate was mercifully brief.
