Panic, Panic, Panic!

On our way back from ‘our’ beach we experienced something that we haven’t done for quite a few years. This time of year the local landowner breeds and rears a reasonable number of pheasants, mostly to be shot at by wealthy partners in crime.
We’re not sure if the shooting season is on this year but there seems to be a sizeable selection of targets on the go, especially the albino one in the foreground. Not one of my better photo’s but they are quick footed little blighters that are constantly in a state of panic even though we were careful in not posing a threat to them.
