Ball Without a Dog

Walking along the beach this morning I found a tennis ball washed up. It was clearly missing a racquet, a court but most importantly a dog. There were a heap of dogs and dog walkers on the beach but this ball seemed ignored. I took a photo and wandered on leaving it in case a dog found it.

It was gone by the time I got back. I reckon a dog got it.
