Lovely walk at Portland Bill this morning with stunning blue sky and sea - thought that would be my blip today but the sun flowers took over. I’ve added a Portland Bill pic in the extras.
This afternoon we went to the Dorset Sunflower Trail, at a farm just outside Dorchester where we went last year. They charge £5 entrance fee which is being divided between Dorchester hospital and a hospital in Ukraine. The sunflowers were absolutely stunning again, in the field at the foot of Maiden Castle (the old hill fort). There were two different trails. I use ‘Pacer’ ap on my phone, as well as a Fitbit, and the ap maps your route - I’ve added that in the extras as I think it’s so clever. The farmer puts so much thought and work into the sunflower trail and could easily charge far more than £5.
