Cardinal Flower and Friend for Flower Friday

I went back again this morning hoping to capture more shots of the hummingbirds and their bickering. I was less successful with that as the light wasn't very good, but I did find the same little juvenile guarding the cardinal flowers and managed to get a few decent shots of him.  It was unbearably hot, and at this location I could sit in the shade.  

Many thanks to all of you who stopped by and left such lovely comments as well as stars and hearts for the feisty pair I posted on Tuesday.   Your kindness put me in the first position on the popular page, which was quite a thrill.  I don't think I have ever made it to that position before.
