Friday: Panama Club

K and I had to return the rental car this morning so drove into Newcastle to drop it off at Central Station.  The one way system was a nightmare but it was all fine in the end.

My aunt and uncle, and cousin, came over for lunch today, bearing fish and chips from the local chip shop which we all know to be, unequivocally, the best in the world.  Once they left, the only thing for it was a walk down to the coast to walk off the food coma.

And guess who arrived this evening, just after 7pm, courtesy of a pet courier company?  Yes, that’s right - Barney Cat is here!  He was a little slinky and nervous but he’s doing fine.  At the moment, he’s restricted to our bedroom and tomorrow we might try an introduction to Meg, my auntie’s 13 year old Labrador.
