Late birthday present

My friend Barbara bought me this beautiful geranium for a birthday present back in June. Unfortunately for various reasons including her mum having a fall, me having covid and our holiday, we haven’t been able to get together until yesterday. In that time the plant has grown and grown! I bought it home yesterday and it filled the boot of my car. She advised me leaving it in the pot for now given the heat. I guess now is not the time for planting!
