Birthday girl

I don’t think my mum is that keen on this photo but I love it. It tells so much about her- her enthusiasm and energy for a challenge, love for a party, love for birthday cheesecake. She is totally brilliant in every way, I think I should be telling her that more often. We had a bbq, listened to all the number ones on her birthday through the years (I did enjoy the 1973 Gary glitter, I know you are not meant to say that any more but it was a cracking song), ate all the food, drank champagne, laughed at nonsense that I can’t remember.
