Autumn...?
It's been much cooler on the last 2 morning walks. I bumped into a woman and her mad cockapoo this morning who was just finishing her walk and she said she could see her breath an hour earlier - so a definite nip in the air and perhaps these leaves are shedding early?
I stood and watched a pair of red squirrels running up and down and round a tree - they seemed not to notice me or Aonghus. I'm not sure if they were fighting or playing!
And then, as if I'm not in enough pain with my back, I went over my ankle... It's been weak since I went over it really badly a few days after Dale was born (25 years ago...) and I tend to go over it once or twice a year! I had just been telling the physio the other day about this old injury and that I hadn't gone over it in a long while... I think I jinxed myself! Doh! Swollen and a nice shade of purple... So not only am O doing my back exercises I have dug out my little bit of paper with my ankle exercises on it... It's been well used!
After an eventful dog walk, it was an eventful day! I went to meet an insulation rep for a coffee this morning, 2 new clients confirmed my appointment and a Planning Consultant has asked me to step in on a project for a new house with him, another project out the door this afternoon and this years quote for my PI insurance came in... It only went up by £50 so not too bad!
And a trip to see Lorna for a cup of tea. She can hardly speak but she assured e she has been testing for Covid and she has had this for just over 2 weeks. But then her son came in and started coughing - and he's just back form a festival down south!!! He's testing negative too... Eeeeeek!
