Kusttram - or Coast Tram

Today we walked to the coast from our hotel and caught the tram which runs from De Panne near the French border all along the Belgian coast up to Knokke-Heist near the Dutch border.  At 42 miles long, it is the longest tram line in the world!  A tram comes every 10 minutes so it was quick and easy to use.

When we arrived in Knokke-Heist, 45 minutes later, we wandered around a bit before having lunch (moules-frites of course!) at a restaurant called Rubens which we think must be the 'in place' judging by the amount of people who wanted lunch there.  The service was great, as was the food, and it was lovely just to sit and watch the world in holiday mode at the seaside!
