Wheatfield

This field is ready to harvest.  T started combining in another field down in the valley today so there is the frequent sound of B driving the full trailers up the hill to the corn barn.  Always satisfying to know the grain is now going under cover and is safe from any wet weather until it is sold.  No rain forecast in case you are wondering!  Extra photo: the grain in the corn barn.

S drove me to Sherborne this morning as she had an appointment and I was able to buy a few items in Sainsburys (my car is off the road).  We then had a coffee and a cheese scone in the local garden centre.
