Surf’s Up

It’s hard to believe this is Lake Wānaka!
I had a chat to the wind surfer before he went into the water - he was from Nelson and was asking if many people surfed in this spot at Waterfall Creek. I haven’t seen them there before. He was extremely skilled at his wind surfing.

Thank you so much for your kind messages left yesterday acknowledging George’s death. They mean a lot to us, and does give us comfort. So many of you will have been through this experience before- as have we. 
We know we will all be ok, but still feel very sad, and George was a real character …he is missed by us. Billy and Frida are getting extra cuddles.
