Once upon a time…

… we used to go camping with "Old Solomon" the then Scoutmaster of a nearby Troop, but he often took us foreigners, (8 miles away) as we went to the school he taught Chemi at, with him.

His technique was to take an advance guard down in his van, often kipping in it en route.   The main Troop following with their personal gear by Train.   From time to time he'd stop and question:-
"Does any-one want to Leek?"  Well here's Leek.

I spotted an "Oddfellow".  All my previous Garlics have had white flowers, likewise any occasional "bolted" Onion.  SO - seeing a non-white one I was puzzled, guessing it might be a Leek, having now checked I see it is a Leek.  Causing me to consider seed-saving, just for fun.
