The Great Marquess

After spending all day rushing round tidying up we all went down to Waverley for some trainspotting.

61994 The Great Marquess arrived first with a single carriage and headed off west, followed a short time later by a double-header of 44871 and 45407 Lancashire Fusilier terminating an excursion from the south, with coaches delightfully named - Christina, Emerald (the Pullman coach), Jessica and Julia. Pulled by a diesel they departed in reverse, back the way they had come.

Tomorrow Mr Flum and I will be driving up to Mallaig to begin our U3A Geology trip to Eigg, so Blipping will be erratic for the next few days.
