My mum would have been 100 today

Here she is getting married in 1952.  I think the ‘reception’ was at her sister’s house - not too fancy, the washing line is in the photo. 
She died 11 years ago. I will always miss her, but it doesn’t hurt any more.  I have shockingly few photos of her - compared to several million of my son. This Is the photo I posted of her on her 99th birthday
I’m glad she didn’t live to be 100 - she would have been distressed by so many things about the world as it is today
