Is it an angel?

No, it's a Romneya Coulteri or Californian tree poppy and it's flowers are beautiful but it's habit can be aggressive. This one was moved a few years ago because it had found it's way through the cavity of its current keepers house and appeared under a window sill!! The RHS say site carefully, I don't think they express the plant's potential enough.

I totally accept that we are desperate for rain and climate change is very real, something more people need to grasp, but it has been a beautiful day.
