My son phoned me earlier to tell me about an injured owl that had been found in the yard at work in Stansted. He swung into action and found an owl rescue centre no Colchester and fortunately was able to take it over. The lady there says she’s in a bad way . It’s a female tawny with a broken wing after hitting the fence, but also fortunately in a healable location so hopefully a positive outcome
