Arrival

Arrived at Narita just before 9am (local time) and met Andrew, Noriko and Kio at the arrivals lounge.

We then spent some time organising some yen for Peter and had lunch at the airport. Later we took the bus to Kasai, just down the road from the hotel at Nishi-Kasai.

Nishi-Kasai is quite an interesting area with plenty of shops and eating/drinking outlets, though as our rooms are on the ninth floor we're not disturbed by any street noise, so I managed to get a bit of sleep for the first time in what seemed like days.

Andrew came over after we'd had a 'rest' and the three of us went out for a couple of beers and a meal. This arcade is not as scary as the shot (after my post-processing) may imply, in fact there are quite a few interesting eating places and shops down here, including the one we went to.
