Portrait of my second dog

Rescued from appalling circumstances 8 years ago. She has grown from a frightened, mangy, depressed dog into a sassy, assertive, lazy little madam (just like me). She follows me everywhere and constantly checks up on me even during our garden walks. She is the sweetest most affectionate little dog.

You can see her here near the pear tree (as I was picking some) and in foreground was the scent from the mint and off camera the rosemary.

The 2 extras are from the garden in all its August beauty and the red rose is called The Trumpeteer (for my husband)
