Gurneys
We decided to have a drive over to Burnham Market this morning for a change. It turned out to be a bit of an expedition; the coast road was closed at Holkham so we had to turn back and make a detour. The detour took us along a narrow road where we came across a huge lorry being loaded with bales by a tractor. There was no way we would get past but the tractor driver directed us along a dusty farm access lane for about half a mile to another road. Quite an adventure!
On arrival we realised that it was almost a year (10th August) since we were last there and I had been just starting to develop a bit of a cough which a few days later turned out to be full blown Covid. Thankfully, no such developments this year, touch wood!
A pleasant morning mooching around a few shops and having a sandwich lunch. I liked the look of this fish shop with all of the colourful signage outside.
