Almondell

Our Wednesday walk with the Ramblers this week took us out to Almondell and Calderwood Country Park near Broxburn, West Lothian.

It was a walk that had much to offer in terms of terrain and scenery, and even on our six-mile meander we barely scratched the surface of all the different paths and tracks the park has available. The early rain gave way before long to pleasant sunshine and the day turned out warmer than many of us had anticipated.
