Say it with followers, the well known tiping error

I thought we should have a jolly picture, as I've had a good day.

When I completed my radiotherapy sessions, I gave the staff a card and promised that I would return with a couple of copies of my book. When I was depressed for a long period, I didn’t feel like doing it. But today, I did. Plus I inserted a poem about my first radiotherapy session. So there I was in that waiting room again, with people I’d never met. The handover went fine. I felt a bit emotional  as I was leaving. Then I made a young woman in Tesco laugh in a muddle over a receipt. ‘You’ve had a long day,’ I said.
