Paella

Chicken paella.

We had lunch at José Andrés's Mercado Little Spain. It is a food hall following the same concept as Eataly, but for Spanish food. The paella was excellent. The saffron was a dominant note, and there was a wonderful smoky flavor from having been cooked over a wood fire. If it were later in the day and we did not have a lot of hot outdoor walking ahead of us, I would also have enjoyed something from the wine bar.
