I liked the way the light caught these emerging ferns. I also liked the out of focus patterns in the background (I hate that word 'bokeh'). Why don't we use 'blur' or 'blob'. Why do we have to use a Japanese word when we've got perfectly good words of our own. I remember, years ago, reading an article in Practical Photography entitled "Shooting an Oofery" when the author encouraged readers to take more care with the out of focus (oofery) areas in the background. That was well before the mid '90s when that dreadful word 'bokeh' came to the fore.

Bokeh gives me the boke!
