Oasis

After a relatively uneventful trip to the dentist I stopped at one of my favorite garden centers to get something cold to drink since it was in the low 80s today.  The Purple Flamingo Cafe offered a blackberry lemonade slushie which was the perfect drink for a hot day.  

As you might imagine, there are purple flamingos all over the place since they take their theme quite seriously.  It's not just a whim because the garden center and cafe seriously support Alzheimer's research.  I found out a while back that purple flamingos are to Alzheimer's what pink flamingos are to breast cancer.
