Then there were 6 !

The Camera Club meet when ahead as planned this morning.

A good number turned up despite the mix weather - we woke to a dusting of snow on the Pennines this morning.

We managed to get soaked through 3 times and in-between we managed to see all sorts of flora and fauna. My ignorance of plant types was shown on every corner of the walk - I now know we saw Wild Garlic, Marsh Marigold, Wood anemone ( found this one since I came home ) and of course Bluebell ( I managed that one).

There have been a few new arrivals since Tuesday, this was the Coot's nest during my recce visit and today chick number 1 seems to have left the nest to its siblings.
