You have to be a certain age to recognise this gentleman.  I was working on the Games Family reception this morning.  He arrived late morning, complete with a bag with his gold medals from various championships, including four from the Commonwealth Games in 1966, 1970, 1974 and 1978 (for New Zealand, where he settled after the games in Christchurch).

He was such a lovely person and was keen to have his photograph taken with us all.  I'm not normally one for being in front of the camera, but it really gives you idea how diminutive he is.
