Cast-iron railings

The recently refurbished and painted cast-iron railings outside Martin's Memorial Church on Kenneth Street. Stornoway was one of the few towns to retain its cast-iron railings during the Second World War. Many other places ripped out theirs, in a misguided effort to aid the war effort.
