Paint it up

Fred announced this morning that today he'd paint the outdoor window frames. I helped out and then took it a step further and painted the front fence, which was looking decidedly neglected and grey after six years of being ignored. I managed to avoid painting (mostly) the ever-growing GIANT echium and the lavender. No neighbours struck up conversations on their way past, although I was ambushed by Poppy on her daily walk. Juno was supervising from the front windowsill and was horrified when Poppy decided to speed up the garden path (I sometimes take her to the front door to collect Fred to join us on a walk). Luckily, today's walker pulled her back before Juno had a hissy fit at her.
