The stroller and the roller

GrandJ’s job to entertain the twins this morning so we set off for a lap of Blackheath. Ayman and Ella love the old road roller in the park across from our house but by the time we got there, they were semi comatose, which doesn’t make for a memorable photo!
The roller was used in the Blackheath area for about 25 years from 1920. I’ve heard it referred to as a steam roller but it’s actually an early diesel, probably 2 stroke but I’d need to climb the fence to look more closely. Either way, I doubt if it would pass modern emission standards!
