Keeper of the Keys

Today I was inducted as Rector of St Saviours, Forest, St Pierre du Bois and Torteval.
We has a lovely service with the Dean preaching, the Bailiff and Lieutenant Governor both reading a lesson, clergy from all over the island and different denominations, Deputies and Douzeineers, and lots of people from all 4 parishes, including a massed choir of 60 who helped us raise the roof.
There was lots of symbolism in the service, including me being given the keys of all 4 churches.
