Nearly home

After only three days away, the sight of the white cliffs of Dover were strangely moving! What must they have meant to sailors who had been away for years, or away at war?

We left our friends Jurgen and Susan at Bruges this morning after our fiftieth anniversary meeting. I wonder when we'll meet again.
