Hummingbird hawk-moth

The hummingbird hawk-moth is one of my favourite visitors in our garden.
This year several are humming around our buddleija.
They fly from dawn til dusk and dusk. It was found that hummingbird hawk-moths have three colour receptors with which they see light in the same spectral range as we humans. So far, this has only been proven in very few butterfly species. (*Wikipedia)
