Crumlin Road Gaol

As our son and daughter in law were working we decided to be tourists for the day! We booked a guided tour of Crumlin Road Gaol which closed in 1996. It was very good and the tour guide was very informative with lots of stories. We then went to a cafe near our son's house to have lunch. 
While we were there I spoke to our daughter, she had just been told that she was being discharged from the Mother and Baby unit after five weeks. She will have continued support from the community mental health team. 
This news was a bit unexpected so I spent the rest of the afternoon thinking through the logistics of arriving home that evening then leaving again the next day.
It was pouring rain by the time we were boarding our plane so there were huge puddles on the tarmac. A bumpier flight home but was over quickly. Put the washing on when we got home then we watched the final two episodes of Virgin River.
