Castle Street Castle

It poured down most of the morning, and into the early afternoon.  The sun finally came out, and again this evening.  A really windy day.

Early shift again in the airport, and a day on the check-in desk.  A steady day of passengers, including our Bergen flight, and a flight from Iceland.  A fairly lazy evening at home, I did get out walkies with Sammy, and helped friend William with his shopping.  I've been gathering old school photos from my collection, ready for the weekend. 

The red sky at night, was a real lie last night! What a downpour today.  Thankfully it did clear, with plenty of folk out tonight enjoying the windy evening.  Passing the castle is part of our daily walks, one of Sammy's favourite places.  Sadly the grounds are still closed for renovation works, but Sammy still has to check each day.  Probably mentioned it before, but old legend has it that my ancestors were part of the main masonry men who built the castle.  Scalloway Castle, Castle Street, Scalloway.
