Planted in 908!

The bark of an ancient olive tree near the Pont du Gard. It is an ancient tree, one of the biggest olive trees I have ever seen… according to the plaque nearby it was planted in the year 908! That would mean it well over 1100 years old. The tree was just magnificent in its own right, wether the date is correct or not…
