Camberley Bookclub

It had been ages since we last met due to difficulty finding a convenient date. We had been reading The Vanishing Half by Brit Benett. It was the story of racism in the 60’s in the USA. Twin sisters Sandra and Estelle are very close until Sandra disappeared. Whilst being of black heritage, the twins appear to be white, and Sandra decided to ‘becone’ a while person. I quite enjoyed it, but it was quite implausible.
