Industrial sewing machine

Friends N&S have given J this to pass on to her daughter B so that she can make new canvas Yurt covers. It needs a bit of TLC and a test to see if it actually works.

It seems to me to be a bit of a mammoth task and I only hope that it doesn’t end in tears or a finger stitched into the canvas!
