Owen and Granny....

....most Saturday's, Owen goes to visit his granny in her care home. Liz (Granny) suffered a terrible stroke several years ago. I've always been reluctant to feature her on Blip until now because I wanted to find the right image that preserves the dignity of a great woman.

She was a headteacher in special schooling and a union activist for many years, a woman with great principles and honesty. I miss the heated debates that she would engage you in if you fancied a verbal joust.

I see much of Liz in her daughters (Mrs Scobes and Mrs LL Cool Jim), almost all of it good ;0)

Owen is clearly enjoying one of Granny's fudge sweeties nicked from her tin....and they both appear to have the same hair dresser!
