Allonby

As we were a bit fed up of not going far, we went all of ten miles along the coast to Allonby, a nice but breezy morning.
Did a bit of birds in flight practice, still a long way to go, but slowly getting there.
I'm sure there is a story behind these old tree trunks, I know there are remains of an ancient forest sometimes visible at extra low tide. Couldn't find much information on Google or the old Allonby site. I'm sure someone will have some details, when I find out I will go again.
