Colony flats, Inverness

I’m calling them that, because this is what they are called in Edinburgh. It is a terraced building divided into upper and lower flats. The former are accessed via an external stairway. The best known colony flats are in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh, but their stairways go straight up. I like the Inverness ones better with their double backs and stone bridges.
