Lewis Carroll

Up in The Mount Cemetery can be found the gravestone of Lewis Carroll.

For years I had known it was there, but today was the first day I had actually walked into the cemetery, despite living within about a mile for the past 25 years.

You see, I was taking myself off for a walk using my new FitBit One - a glorified pedometer that also records stairs climbed and sleep patterns. As it turned out, I managed to tot up 6,959 steps in 3.15 miles and climbed 37 floors (the equivalent of Victoria Falls) in just a short time.
