Good grief

We woke up to find that the couple renting our house want it for another week. We'd been avoiding the issue of a washing machine (we'll end up with two) but today convinced us we do need one so we headed to Bedarieux. M Blanc Bons recognised us and said, mais oui, he would sell it to us, deliver it, fit it and test it by 5 o'clock this afternoon!!!
And he did!!!!!!!!!
This is IMPOSSIBLE in France.
