A room with a view
With Fiffi and Neil being the only foreign contingent left I have removed the stars and stripes and the Dutch tricolour. Only the Union Flag and the Australian flag fluttering in the breeze, or not. The wind has either been non-existent today or unexpectedly gusting for a few minutes. Really annoying when you are trying to sweep up leaves!
We went to visit Fiffi and Neil today in their flat that they have rented for their holiday, it's an Air BnB flat. Very smart, Marlane and I were quite taken with it and loved the view over the Gloucester-Sharpness canal. It was really busy with constant narrow boat, and other pleasure craft, traffic up and down. Even Boadicea put in an appearance, she's a pleasure boat that provides trips up and down the canal and was used during the evacuation of Dunkirk. At £5.00 a passenger they must have made a fortune at Dunkirk!
