Down by the riverside

Another very hot day, and it’s forecast to be 39C tomorrow. We went down to the river in the early evening — S had a brief swim, but I’d already done 20 lengths in the morning, so I just dabbled my feet. Back home, refreshing myself with a Kina Karo* and tonic, and a goat’s cheese and fig tart courtesy of M. Picard.
